Our New Media Design incorporates traditional marketing materials with animation, sound and interactive functions that require a response from your users. We add the actions needed to propel your business to another level. For Design Services please click on the options below or visit our Design Page

A new assistance for our local clients is the use of our front lobby and the two computers located there. A Mac and a Windows computer are connected to the Internet and are ready for use.   We have found that in the mountains not everyone has access to high speed Internet.  So, if that is your circumstance, we invite you to use our services to maintain your website. And for our clients we also have a flat bed scanner and a 35mm film and transparency scanner you may use free of charge (unassisted) to change or add photos to your content pages.

realestate brochureAnother recent value added service is Photography.  Rick Hall worked as a photographer for years and has now added this skill set to our offerings to aid our Web Site Clients.  You can see his work throughout these sites:  Grace Cathy's Sculpture Garden , Smoky Mountain Retreat's Home Sales.

CGI is offering a Real Estate Package.  Rick Hall takes many photos of the property and provides them on CD in Digital Format - as print and website resolutions and takes a representative of those photos to design a Single Page Layout.  One print is included.  The package price is $175.00 per property.  (the property must be within a 25 mile radius from our office).  To see an example of the Single Page Layout click here.

We also offer video production and editing to support our New Media (CD and DVD) and Web Site clients.  We shoot and edit DV CAM. We also have a portable DAT and various microphones to capture audio.  We have a complete in house non linear editing system.  You can see some of our work here Video Shooting:  Grace Cathey's Case Study , Flint Trading's Opening Banners , and Flint's Installation Videos- Editing:  ABG and Satellite Cellular and of course all videos you see throughout this web site.   We work with DV CAM, Mini DV, VHS, DVD.  There is more information on our video productions services available, click here.

We work with Macintosh and Windows computers, using a variety of software packages. Most of which are cross platform. If you are one of our new Web Site Clients, as we complete elements of your project we post them online in your web site area for your approval and input. You are kept informed throughout the process. We invite you and encourage you to be a part of the creative development, after all, no one understands your business or your customers as you do.

Before we explain our pricing guidelines, we invite you to call and make an appointment to discuss your website.  We offer a free 30 minute consultation.  To take full advantage of the time, bring your questions, your ideas of what you want to see on your website, how you want it to function and we can give you a good ballpark idea of what you can expect for cost.

Our pricing usually constitutes a project price with a low/high range.   It's our time whether we're editing, programming, designing or animating. Some skills you will need more of ... some less...

We don't take a grocery store approach to pricing, because if the tab starts to get a little high it's usually the "good" stuff that's the first to go. And for those who price per page? Ask what's on that page?

Let us know your budget.  What do you want to spend?  The budget gives us a place to start planning.  And when we sit down to determine your main goals and objectives,  knowing how much you want to spend ensures that we work together to spend your money on what matters.

We try to put many pieces together to give you the best combination of media you can use now and build on for the future. And give you something more than just an electronic version of a printed brochure. After all, if that's all you have... once your customers see that, why do they need to come back?

Even though we try hard to pinpoint every contingency with design, there are always issues that pop up and the price range usually covers those issues and keeps the budget in line.  If at anytime it may appear that a change or addition will put us over the high end of the proposed price, we will contact you to be sure you want to add or make this change and obtain approval for the additional cost before we complete that item.

As a rule when we start a project we require one-third of the proposed cost up front, another third when the project is well in process and your training is beginning. The final third and additional charges (if applicable) will be due when the project is complete and ready to go "live".

Learn Lightwave 3D

Although our clients needs come first. We do like to share the love with Lightwave 3D. We have been using Lightwave 3D since its inception. Remember the Amiga 2000? All the 3D work you see on this web site was completed in Lightwave 3D. Including all the animation in WhiteTail Fever, Extreme, the ABG Paver Training CDs and the Virtual Scholl Textile Mill.

We have trained many people in various professions to use Lightwave at all sorts of skill levels. Unlike most classroom settings, we custom design a training day around the type of projects you want to learn to do. We do work with beginners, but we recommend you call us when you want to delve deeper into the package and have a specific project you want to do or a specific skill you want to improve. That way, you learn advanced features as well as get a good start toward accomplishing your main objective.

If you are interested in Lightwave Training just drop us a note and we will work with you as best we can.

It's impossible to be all things to all people. Remember the adage, "Jack of all trades, master of none." For those companies that have all the talent "in house". You could be dealing with an agency that has high internal operating costs and multiple markups. And because they need to be the "Jack of all trades", you may end up working with the best talent they can afford, but not necessarily the best talent.

At CGI Group we do what we do best and spread a wide tent to include other professionals only when we need them. They get paid what they're worth and we get what we pay for, high quality, professional work. It's still as simple as a one stop agency, you work through us, with one creative director to manage your project, but get the best result.

Here are some of those professionals
