We get so many requests from students that we've decided to add a section just to answer some of those questions. When we got started in this business, we were totally on our own. We did things the old fashioned way... trial and error. And no one in the business wanted to share their knowledge. Now it's different. Knowledge is everywhere. You can go to school, take an online class, buy a DVD tutorial and learn just about anything by example. There are so many wonderful full featured movie DVD's in the market that are packed with life experiences from animators, directors and producers. One of my favorites is the "Lord of the Rings" Trilogy. The extended versions with behind the scenes sections is absolutely outstanding. They offer some of the best insights to this type of work that I have ever seen.
Advice:
We talk to quite a few students and they always say... "I don't want to do flying logos. I want to..." Well, you also need to do flying logos. They pay the bills and that's what your customers sometimes want.
